Reflection
I love fall. The cooler weather, the fall colors, the winding down of another year. It is my time for reflection. I am not spending my energy reflecting on the state of the economy. I know where it is at. I go out every day and see the gas prices rising, foreclosures rising, interest rates rising and pay checks dropping.
I am thinking about the path I am walking and where it has taken me this year.
The falling economy has not stopped me from giving a smile when you don't have one; lending an ear when no one else will listen; volunteering some of my precious time to ease someone elses burden; nor has it stopped me from making a donation, calling a sick friend just to say I care, cooking a meal for someone that cannot care for themselves or giving away my gently used articles to someone less fortunate.
My economy is not dim! It is filled with all things positive and as this year comes to a close,I look forward to all the abundance and prosperity the Universe has to offer in the New Year.

Welcome to the USA
I often wonder if the American people really understand how blessed they are to live in this wonderful country. This is the only country I know of that will give you ANYTHING you want (for a price of course).
Let me expound on that. I am a transplanted Northerner, coming from the beautiful country of Canada, where, YES, we have socialized medical, snow 6 months of the year, and a minimum wage that servers can actually live on. (Not including tips.)
However, I defy you to find a house in Canada for $100,000. To go further than that, try getting a mortgage without a down payment. You can't buy a mobile home on a deeded lot for under $200,000.
Credit. The American way of life! Canadians ask, "how much will that cost?" and Americans ask "what will my payment be?" You can have anything you want.
Where else can you get a payment schedule over 50 years?
FICA SCORES
Wow. I can't believe how much store is put in your Credit Rating scores. THEY ARE JUST A BUNCH OF NUMBERS ON A PIECE OF PAPER. Come on, if you want something bad enough, someone will sell it to you. (for a price of course)
Foreclosures are rampant right now. Do you really think, in the long run, that this is going to keep you from ever owning anything again? Let's face it, the whole country is in foreclosure. It isn't a reality that you can never own anything again.
The US as a whole! What is the FICA score of the US right now? Shouldn't Bush be a little concerned? No! Why? Because it's the US. Someone will loan them the money!!!!
Just my opinion
